Salman Khan has become more intelligent with his choice of movies. He has been building his image as an actor who can dabble in various genres, from action to drama. Last year, he turned a wrestler with a broken heart in ‘Sultan’ and this year he turned into a man-child in ‘Tubelight’. While the actor keeps on experimenting, one notices that it’s been a while he dabbled into comedy. His movies like ‘Andaz Apna Apna’, ‘Judwaa’, ‘Hello Brother’, ‘No Entry’, ‘Partner’ and ‘Ready’ are still adored by the audiences. His last comic release was ‘Ready’ and we have not seen him tickling our funny bones since then, six years, to be precise.
So recently, when the actor was quizzed, as to does he miss working in comedy films, he said, “Yes, I do miss it and I’m trying to do a film of that genre. But I am not getting a script like that. Once I get a proper film, which makes me laugh when I’m hearing it, then I will do it for sure. ‘Ready’ was a film that actually made me laugh during the narration. After that, I have not heard a script like that.” (Also Read: Salman Khan finds Varun Dhawan to be the best for the lead in ‘Love’ remake)
On the work front, the actor is shooting for Ali Abbas Zafar’s ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ in Abu Dhabhi with Katrina Kaif. The movie is a seequel to the 2012 superhit movie ‘Ek Tha Tiger’. This movie reunites Salman and Katrina after five long years. Apart from that, the actor will be teaming up with his ‘Kick’ co-star Jacqueline Fernandez in the movie ‘Race 3’. The actors will start shooting for the movie from October 2017.
