Salman Khan To Be Tried For Culpable Homicide

Superstar Salman Khan was given a jolt, by the Mumbai session court yesterday.When Session Judge UB Hejib rejected his plea against retrial of the 2002 hit and run case. The magistrate court at Bandra had charged the actor for culpable homicide not amounting to murder and if proven Salman will land up behind bars for ten years at the most.

As per sources, the Court observed that the actor had been warned by his bodyguard, not to drive so fast as he was drunk ,but yet he drove at 100kmph. Being a resident of that area was well aware that people sleep outside , ultimately crashed his Toyota Land Cruiser killing one and injuring four others.

The court observed, “I find it unable to subscribe to the argument of the defense that the magistrate court has come to the wrong conclusion as it has not permitted the accused to lead the evidence of defense witnesses,” the case has been adjourned to July 19 and the actor has to be present in court.

Truly a  sad day for Salman Khan Fans.
