Legendary actress Asha Parekh is soon to launch her biography, which is written by popular filmmaker and critic Khalid Mohammed. The biography, which is titled ‘The Hit Girl’ will be launched at a suburban hotel on April 10.
And according to recent reports, the book will be launched by the one and only Salman Khan. Asha Parekh and Salman Khan’s family share a very close bond and the veteran actress is often spotted at social dos and events with Salman’s step-mom Helen and father Salim Khan. But this is not Salman’s only involvement in the book. Interestingly, Salman has also written the foreword of the biography. Apparently, writer Khalid had asked Salman to to pen the foreword and he was more than happy to do so.
It is also said that it took Salman almost a fortnight to write a clean copy. ‘It’s Salman, dil se’, remarked a source who read it.
The cover of the book was revealed earlier this month and saw the actress looking pretty as ever.
The book apparently charts the actress’s highs and lows in her professional and personal life.
Asha ji has given several hits like ‘Kati Patang’, ‘Pyar Ka Mausam’, ‘Teesri Manzil’, ‘Ziddi’, ‘Mere Sanam’ and many more. It would be quite interesting to see her
