Salman Khan to romance Vaani Kapoor in ‘Dhoom 4’?

Rumours abound in Bollywood that Salman Khan has been approached to play the antagonist in the fourth instalment of YRF’s popular series ‘Dhoom’. Now there is another buzz resounding in B-Town that Vaani Kapoor, who is at present shooting for Yash Raj Films ‘Befikre’ opposite Ranveer Singh, will be seen as the female lead in ‘Dhoom 4’.

Sources say, “Aditya Chopra is keen on casting Salman Khan in a negative role and hopes to cast Vaani Kapoor opposite him in ‘Dhoom 4’. Earlier reports of actors Hrithik Roshan, Baahubali actor Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan and even Shah Rukh Khan being approached for the film and Parineeti Chopra as the female lead is taking a u-turn with names of ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ star and the ‘Befikre’ actress topping the list now.”

Sources add, “Salman Khan has also been approached to play a negative role in ‘Race 3’ and it is almost finalised with Dhoom 4 still in talks. The issue is a financial one where Salman wants a stake in D:4, just like Aamir had in Dhoom 3. Salman wants the same profit sharing ratio that was offered to the D:3 star. Once that is finalised, he’s on.”

Salman Khan at present is wrapping up the shoot of ‘Sultan’ in which he is depicting the role of a Haryanvi wrestler while Vaani Kapoor is in Paris shooting for ‘Befikre’ opposite Ranveer Singh. Coincidently both the films are being made under YRF banner.
