You’ll be living under the rock if you do not know the infamous fight that took place between Kapil Sharma and Sunil Grover. After this shocking incident, Sunil Grover had quit ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’. Soon after, other artistes like Ali Asgar, Chandan Prabhakar and Sugandha Mishra left the show as well. Reports suggested that due to the falling TRP’s, the channel may soon end this show and replace it with popular game show ‘Dus Ka Dum’ hosted by superstar Salman Khan.
But, here’s a sigh of relief for all the Kapil Sharma fans out there. Reports are been heard that the comedian’s show has got a two-month extension. Reason being the postponement of Salman’s ‘Dus Ka Dum’, because of the actor’s hectic schedule. An insider has quoted to Mid-Day saying, “Salman has already started shooting for ‘Tiger Zinda Hai‘, his reunion film with Katrina Kaif. So, the makers of ‘Dus Ka Dum’ have pushed it to January 2018. That’s how the channel could allow Kapil more time to run his show.” [sic] (Also Check: Salman Khan kickstarts ‘Tubelight’ promotions, rocks the stage at ‘India Banega Manch’)
Industry observer Anil Wanvari has told the daily, “Last week’s TRP’s went up to nearly 4 million impressions from 3.4 million the week before. As its peak, the show garnered an average six million impressions. The recent Arjun Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor episode evoked a positive response. We will have to wait and watch for at least a fortnight if the upward trend continues. We can’t write Kapil’s show off just yet.” [sic]
Must be a relief for Kapil Sharma as in an indirect way, Salman Khan has turned saviour for him.
However, an official confirmation on the same is still awaited.
Quiet, resonant, and creative, he can be seen immersed in his own world, and puts in his heart and soul into the one passion that he has, Bollywood. His line for survival? Feel happy to be a part of it.
