Bollywood producer Vijay Galani has breathed his last on December 29. He had produced films including Ajnabee and Veer. Producer Ramesh Taurani shared the news on his Instagram handle. He offered condolences to Galani’s family and friends in his post.
He wrote, “Very unfortunate and saddening to know our dear friend Vijay Gallani passed away…May his soul rest in peace.. deepest condolences to his family and friends…Om Shanti #ripvijaygallani.”

According to a report in ABPNews.com, Vijay Galani had blood cancer, and had gone to London three months ago with his family for a bone marrow transplant. The producer is survived by his wife, son and daughter.
Gadar director Anil Sharma, who worked with Galani told the portal that he had spoken to Galani two-and-a-half months ago. He added, “The news of Vijay’s death is very sad. He was a very good man and his relationship with me has always been good”.
Apart from Ajnabee and Veer, he had also produced Govinda and Manisha Koirala’s film Achanak and Vidyut Jammwal and Shruti Haasan’s The Power.
