Salman Khan all set to venture into Web bandwagon through THIS biopic?

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is a show stopper and is still going strong at the box-office. Salman is 53 years of age, but is a very high commodity in Bollywood and is one of the most sought after actors. The ‘Tubelight’ actor has also got a very sharp business mind and has a knack for producing and creating great content.

Now, Salman Khan is all set to venture into the web bandwagon. His production house Salman Khan Films will foray into the web world with a sports biopic that will be streamed on Hotstar Specials. Kabir Khan is also making a documentary drama around one of the most loved teams for Hotstar.

The medium of digital content has grown exponentially and many high profile stars are not hesitating and becoming part of this exciting platform. Just a few days back, Akshay Kumar also signed Amazon Prime’s show and has been paid a whopping amount for it.

On the work front, Salman Khan will be next seen in ‘Bharat’. He has wrapped up the shoot of the film just a few days back. ‘Bharat’ has already generated enough buzz with its teaser. The Ali Abbas Zafar directorial was made on a tight schedule and the makers had been working non-stop to complete it on time for an Eid release. Katrina Kaif was not the first choice but she stepped in when Priyanka Chopra opted out of the project.

‘Bharat’ is an adaptation of a South Korean film. It also features Disha Patani, Nora Fatehi, Sunil Grover, Jackie Shroff and Tabu. The period drama will hit the screens on Eid this year.
