Salman Khan calls ‘babu’ Sooraj Barjatya his ‘best director’ as he wishes him for Uunchai

Sooraj Barjatya directorial Uunchai starring Amitabh Bachchan, Boman Irani, Anupam Kher and Parineeti Chopra is set to release soon. Salman Khan, who shares a great bond with Sooraj, took to his Twitter and wished him for his upcoming film Uunchai.

The actor shared the trailer of Uunchai and wrote, “My best director and truly one of the best human beings I have ever met and worked with. All the best my brother Sooraj babuuuuuu… #SoorajRBarjatya.”

For the uninitiated, during the trailer launch of Uunchai, Sooraj had revealed that Salman Khan wanted to be a part of Uunchai. He was quoted by PTI saying, “When I was making this (Uunchai), Salman asked me, ‘Sooraj, what are you making? Why are you going to the hills?’ He also told me, ‘I can do this film!’ I said no because we all know he can climb the mountains and I needed people who look as if they can’t.”

Salman and Sooraj share a great bond. They have worked together in films such as Maine Pyar Kiya, Hum Aapke Hain Koun, Hum Saath Saath Hain and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo.

Salman Khan has interesting projects in the pipeline. The actor will be seen in Tiger 3 with Katrina Kaif. Tiger 3 is slated to release during Diwali next year. A few days ago, Salman announced that Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan will release during Eid next year. The actor shared a poster along with the caption, “Tiger 3 now on Diwali 2023 n Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan on Eid 2023. Let’s celebrate Eid, Diwali with #KBKJ and #Tiger3. And this Xmas with #Cirkus.” Apart from this, he will also make a cameo in Shah Rukh Khan starrer Pathaan.
