Revealed: Salman Khan’s new find, Zaheer Iqbal’s debut film’s title

A few months back, we told you that superstar Salman Khan is all set to launch yet another talent in Bollywood. Yes, we are talking about his childhood friend’s son, Zaheer Iqbal.

Introducing Zaheer to the world, Salman had taken to his Instagram handle and written, “How these kids grow up so soon… ALWAYS keep giving your best #ZAHERO no matter what. Stand tall and always bend backwards for those u love and those who love u, Yeh yaad rakhna that the most important thing in life is Respect and Loyalty. @iamzahero”

And today, according to a report in Mumbai Mirror, we came to know that Zaheer’s debut film is titled ‘The Notebook’, and the makers of the film will start shooting in Kashmir from September onward.

A source close to the development told the tabloid, “He is a good dancer and the shoot is most likely to start with a song sequence. A new face will be launched opposite Zaheer but the team is keeping her under wraps at the moment.” Directed by Nitin Kakkar, ‘The Notebook’ is apparently a love story and Zaheer has been preparing very hard for his role in the film.

Well, we are quite surprised by the choice of the film’s title which is the name of a popular novel by celebrated writer, Nicholas Sparks. A film has been made on the novel in Hollywood.

Is Zaheer’s film a remake or adaptation of the Hollywood film? Well, the makers of the film haven’t announced anything regarding this so far, so all we can do is wait and watch.
