Salman Khan turns 55: Superstar cuts cake with paparazzi at his Panvel farmhouse- view pics

Salman Khan ringed in his 55th birthday today. The superstar’s birthday is celebrated nationwide like nothing less than a festival by his fans. While Salman did request his fans not to crowd outside his house given the current situation, the actor did step out to celebrate his birthday with the paparazzi.

Salman was seen wearing a blue shirt and jeans as he stepped out to cut his birthday cake with the paparazzi.

While talking to the media, Salman said that he is not planning a celebration for this year because of the pandemic. He said, “There are no celebrations this year, it’s just me and my family, no one else,” he added, “I had no desire to celebrate my birthday in this terrible year. I hope that the next year brings positivity into our lives. I hope that everyone is healthy, happy, and safe.”

Ahead of his birthday, Salman put up a message outside his residence that read, “The Iove and affections of my fans over the years has been overwhelming on my birthdays but this year it is my humble request not to crowd outside my house keeping the Covid pandemic & social distancing norms in mind. Mask pehno! Sanitise karo! Social distance maintain rakho! Iss waqt main Galaxy mein nahi hun (I am not at Galaxy Apartments right now). Warm regards, Salman Khan(sic).”
