Salman Khan’s ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ crosses 600 crores but, Salman still awaits payment?

One of the biggest blockbusters of year 2015 was Salman Khan‘s ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan.’ The beautiful film which narrated the story of a noble man who fought all the odds to get a little girl named Munni unite with her family living in Pakistan. The movie was not only commercially successful but, it also brought critical acclaim to Salman Khan. The movie was such a big hit that it mmanaged to break several records at the box-office. If we go by the numbers than the movie collected approximately 600 crores on the box-office.

Well, a lot of credit for the film’s succes goes to Salman Khan. He was the major reason behind ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ being a superhit. But, have the makers not paid his dues yet? It’s almost 6 months now from the date the movie released and we get to know that Salman is yet to recieve his payment for this film and this amount sums upto approximately 35 crores. Salman is apparently miffed with the makers for not paying him the entire amount even after so many months have passed from the date of release of ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan.’

But, didn’t we hear that Salman has opted to share profits instead of charging a one time fee? Well, we don’t what truth lies behind this story but we surely enjoyed Salman’s performance in ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan.’

He is now gearing up for his upcoming film ‘Sultan’ wherein he would be seen playing a role of a wrestler.
