Salman Khan’s ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ in trouble

After targeting Aamir Khan starer ‘PK’, Hindu activist group Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Bajrang Dal protested against Salman Khan’s upcoming film ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ too. They were spotted raising slogans. The reason behind their ire regarding the Salman Khan film was the title Bajrangi Bhaijaan, the group demanded that the film’s title be changed as it hurts Hindu sentiments.

Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Bajrang Dal threatened to launch a massive protest and stop the screening of the film unless the movie’s title is changed. A PIL has also been filed by a from Chitrakoot resident. He has sent a legal notice to Salman, Yash Raj Films and director Kabir Khan demanding that ‘Bhaijaan’ be removed from the title. He also added that the objectionable scenes of the movie too should be deleted.

Salman’s Eid release will see the actor playing a Bajrang Bali devotee who takes on the task of returning a little girl to her family in Pakistan. The movie is all set to hit theaters this Eid.
