Salman Khan’s ‘Bigg Boss 10’ BANNED in Pakistan

Following the unfortunate Uri attacks and India’s ban on Pakistani artistes working in the country, Pakistan too has now decided to ban Indian shows which were supposed to air in their country.

It has been reported that Pakistan has refused to air Salman Khan’s upcoming reality show ‘Bigg Boss 10’, in spite of it being hugely famous there. Earlier, Pakistani channels were allowed to air six percent Indian content during 24-hour transmission cycle, but after the whole incident, Pakistani television channels, FM radio stations and cable operators have been strictly asked to stop airing Indian content.

Also the PEMRA has recommended that permission to air Indian content in Pakistan will only be given when the Indian government allows Pakistani content on Indian channels.

Zee’s Channel ‘Zindagi’, which aired Pakistani shows too has now replaced them with new Indian shows.

This decision will however be a huge loss for the makers.
