Now, the man has given an interview with a leading news channel where he has revealed that his parents were threatened as he had produced evidence against Salman before the magistrate. That’s the reason, he did not appear before the Rajasthan High Court when the latest hearing took place.

Here’s what he was quoted saying:

My father received threats, so I got scared and moved out of a town near Jodhpur. If I had police protection, I could have given a statement. That was what I always intended.

The driver, Harish Dulani, was missing since 2002. This weakened the prosecution’s case against Salman.
