Superstar Salman Khan has a close connection with a dubbing studio in Andheri, considered as a landmark for the cinema buffs. He has dubbed most of his film here. Not only Sallu but Govinda too considers this studio very lucky and he too prefers dubbing here. This is ‘Sights and Sound’ – a studio owned by Salim Khan, father of the Dabangg Khan. This studio is shutting down making way for a high rise building.

As per sources, the decision to shut down the studio is taken by none other than Salim Khan,”Salim sahab purchased this property in 1994. This was a very popular landmark as many stars have done their dubbing here. In fact, Salman dubbed most of his movies there. Recently a builder approached Salim saab to discuss demolishing the old building to build a high rise in its place. He then decided that shutting down the studio is the best option.”
Salim Khan too confirmed the news, “yes, we shut down the studio a while ago as it was not possible to keep it running. Also, a builder had recently spoken to me about re-construction of the building. All the equipment is still inside and nothing has changed except that we have added a lock.”
Looks like these high rises are taking over many a landmark.
