Salman Khan’s friend, cricketer Shoaib Akhtar sends wishes for the actor, all the way from Pakistan

Following the verdict at Jodhpur court and being sentenced to five years imprisonment, superstar Salman Khan spent the night at the Jodhpur Central Jail on Thursday. The actor was taken to jail amid tight security. This incident has not only saddened the film fraternity members but also his close friends in other fields and neighbouring country as well.

Former Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Akhtar is among them, and is really upset that his friend has been sentenced to five years in prison. He has taken to his Twitter handle to share his thoughts over this. (Also Read: Rani Mukerji supports Salman Khan, says her love will always be with him)

He tweeted, “Really Sad to see my friend Salman khan sentenced for 5 year But the Law must take its course & we got to respect the decision of honourable court of India but i still think punishment is to harsh but my heart goes to his family & fans .. Am sure he will out soon ..”

Currently, there are reports that the sessions court judge has asked for fresh papers and argument will continue tomorrow for Salman’s bail. He will either receive bail or his bail would get reserved for one more day.
