Salman Khan’s grand gesture for Sooraj Barjatya

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’. The movie has the gorgeous Sonam Kapoor opposite the Khan, that also marks the return of Salman Khan’s most loved onscreen character Prem.

Actors are known to ask for a fixed payment as well as a percentage of the film’s profits. But Salman Khan knwon to be a man with a golden heart, who can go to any lentgh for his friends, has foregone the astronomic remuneration for the upcoming family drama. The reason behind his decision being Sooraj Barjatya, with whom he has reunited after long time.

Sources said, “During their first meeting to discuss the film, Salman Khan told Sooraj Barjatya that he will not accept payment to act in the film and instead take 50 per cent of the profit.”

USources added, “A-listers often make concessions for producers or directors they are friends with, but Salman just wants a share in the profit. The film is expected to do well since it is releasing on Diwali and won’t have competition at the box office either.”

Prem Ratn Dhan Payo also stars Anupam Kher, Neil Nitin Mukesh.
