When asked why such a long wait, source says, “‘Kick 2’ would’ve happened in 2017 itself. But this year Salman is busy with Kabir Khan’s ‘Tubelight’ and Ali Abbas Zafar’s ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’. Sajid has three releases lined up in 2017. First, there’s Vishal Bhardwaj’s ‘Rangoon’, followed by Sabbir Khan’s ‘Baaghi 2’ and ‘Judwaa 2’. So, they’ve decided to work together in 2018.”
