The Chinkara Poaching Case, where Bollywood actor Salman Khan is the primary accused, has taken a new turn as Salman Khan’s lawyer has raised a question on the very authenticity of the forensic report.

Allegedly, Khan and his companions took the dead chinkaras to Ashirwad hotel for cleaning and cooking them. Afterwards, blood samples were taken from the spot which matched with that of the animals. However, the lawyer says that the reports lack sufficient credibility.

“Since the samples were taken by FSL team 17 days after the incident, how can it be assumed that those samples belonged to the animal, allegedly killed by Khan and later taken to the Ashirwad Hotel for cleaning and cooking?” – Mahesh Bora, Khan’s lawyer, argued.

“Even if we presume that the dead deer was taken to the hotel after killing, cleaned and cooked there with a knife, how can it be said that it was Khan who killed it and took it to the hotel?” – he added.

The ‘Dabangg’ actor was sentenced to imprisonment of one year after he allegedly killed two chinkaras in Bhawad village on September 26-27, 1998. The actor moved to the High Court against the verdict.
