Salman Khan’s ‘Sultan’ breaks all records of pre-release sales in Bollywood

Salman Khan‘s ‘Sultan’ has released today and the footfall is something worth remembering. But even before it releases, it created history. ‘Sultan’, before hitting the theatres, has done a business of Rs. 22-23 Crores, thanks to its pre-release bookings. This is so far the highest nett pre-release collection in Bollywood.

Earlier, ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’, another blockbuster from Salman Khan himself, had the record to its credit, with a collection of 15 Crores through pre-booking prior to its release.

‘Sultan’ has witnessed a rise of good 50% in pre-booking sales, than that of PRDP.

An eye-popping amount of Rs. 40 crores is being predicted for the film!
