Salman Khan’s ‘Tubelight’ to have an extravagant release in China

While Salman Khan has acted opposite most of the leading actresses of Bollywood, this is the first time that he teams up with a Chinese actress. Kabir Khan’s ‘Tubelight’ will have him acting opposite Chinese actress Zhu Zhu. Considering this, we had assumed the film would release in China on a pretty large scale.

With official confirmation, it does not remain a mere speculation any more. Not just release, but the makers are brainstorming promotional strategies to be carried out there as well.

“China is a huge market. The number of theatres in the country are staggering. Plus, Tubelight does have a Chinese connection, including its leading lady. We are looking at the various possibilities of how to give the film a big release in China,” Kabir Khan told DNA, regarding the same. The report states that Salman will tour the biggest cities of China as part of ‘Tubelight’.

Earlier this year, Jackie Chan’s ‘Kung Fu Yoga’ that starred Bollywood actors Sonu Sood, Disha Patani and Amyra Dastur, broke many box office records in China. With ‘Tubelight’ having Salman Khan’s presence, it will probably do even better!
