Salman Khan-starrer Mental’s schedule has been brought to a grinding halt, due to the tussle between action artiste from Mumbai and Chennai.Trouble had erupted when the latter discovered there were only three southern fighters for every seven from Mumbai, not to mention they were being paid 50 per cent less than their local counterparts.
The end result of which was that the 30-odd southern fighters have returned to Chennai without shooting the action sequence. Salman’s brother and producer of the film, Sohail Khan, has registered a complaint against them with the Association of Motion Pictures and TV Programme Producers (AMPTPP).The decision to file the complaint was taken jointly by Salman and Sohail.
As per sources,Not only have the brothers filed a complaint, they have returned to Mumbai along with the rest of the crew.”The big set in Lavasa has not been dismantled yet. Every single day since the south action artistes left, the makers have been incurring losses to the tune of Rs 20 lakh,” As things stand, the fighters down south have been given an ultimatum to report in the next two or three days.
Well it surely looks like Salman Khan’s Mental is jinxed.
