Ali Abbas Zafar’s directorial venture, ‘Bharat’ is the official Hindi adaptation of the hit Korean family drama ‘Ode To My Father’. Speculations were rife that Disha would play Salman’s long-lost sister in the movie, but contrary to rumours it is not Disha but Tabu who will essay the role of Salman’s sister. Whereas Disha will be playing one of the Dabangg Khan’s love interest, as per reports.
‘Bharat’ was recently in the news when Priyanka Chopra, who was the lead actress in the film, walked out at the last minute. Soon Katrina Kaif stepped into the desi girl’s shoes and will be joining Salman for the second schedule of the film in Malta.
The movie that also stars Nora Fatehi of ‘Dilbar’ fame in a pivotal role, is being produced by Atul Agnihotri. It will have Salman sporting five different looks as the story of the emotional drama spans a period of six decades.
‘Bharat’ is expected to release on Eid, next year.
