EXCLUSIVE: Samantha Akkineni on her family’s reaction to The Family Man 2 trailer: They’re not going to expect normal, boring stuff

Manoj Bajpayee starrer The Family Man is one of the most loved web series and the trailer of the second season just dropped. Fans can’t stop raving about The Family Man 2 as Srikant Tiwari makes a return, but there is also one more reason as South superstar Samantha Akkineni will be starring in the show as well. Samantha has a huge fan following and while her fan reactions have been all heart; the Super Deluxe actress recently told us how her family reacted to The Family Man 2 trailer.

In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Bubble, Samantha revealed that her family has come the expect anything but boring and normal stuff. She recalled her opening scene in the movie Super Deluxe and said that after that ‘tad bold’ scene; her family have always expected something incredible and new from her.

“My family is always prepared, they know that they’re not going to expect normal, boring stuff. They’re always prepared for something like my previous film, Super Deluxe, the opening scene was..,” Samantha chuckled while Manoj chimed in and said, “My God, you could see super deluxe.”

Samantha continued, “The opening scene was a tad bold. So yeah, that is what they have come to expect now.” Manoj added, “The family she is married into, they are themselves are all big stars. I know they must be expecting something really credible and something really new this time from Samantha and not only from Samantha, also from Family Man.”
