Samantha Ruth Prabhu to make her Bollywood debut with Ayushmann Khurrana?

Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu is currently not only famous down South but all over India. All thanks to her OTT debut with The Family Man 2. Her stellar performance left everyone stunned. There have been reports that Samantha will soon make her Bollywood debut. But nothing has been confirmed yet. The latest report in a portal states that she has bagged her first Hindi film and that too with Ayushmann Khurrana.

As per a report in Peepingmoon.com, the Oh Baby! actress has signed her debut Bollywood film with Ayushmann. The report also stated that it’s a big, commercial project by Dinesh Vijan of Maddock Films. The story is said to be “unique, intriguing, and has an ample dose of humour and suspense”.

Sources close to the development have also revealed to the portal that the paperwork on this film has been completed and the makers are now discussing shooting timelines with Sam and Ayushmann’s teams. Nothing has been revealed yet including the director’s name. It might go on floors towards the end of the year.

A source from the industry said, “Samantha will be playing the central character in the film alongside Ayushmann Khurrana in a parallel lead,” and Maddock Films is planning to make it on a big scale and release it sometime in late 2023.

Also, there have been reports that Samantha might star in a female-centric thriller under Taapsee Pannu’s banner, Outsiders Films. However, recently in an interview with Pinkvilla, the Shabaash Mithu actress confirmed the news of collaborating with Samantha for a project. She also added that an official announcement regarding it will be made soon. Also, there have been rumours of Samantha starring with Akshay Kumar for Dharma Productions film. She is making her debut on Koffee With Karan 7 with Akshay.
