Samantha Ruth Prabhu to star in a movie under Taapsee Pannu’s Production

Samantha Ruth Prabhu is ruling the internet ever since her dance number in Allu Arjun starrer Pushpa: The Rise. The actress is now set to collaborate with actress Taapsee Pannu. Samantha will be seen heading a movie produced by the Pink actress. Rumours of Samantha and Taapsee collaborating for a project have been on for long. In a recent interview, the Shabaash Mithu actress confirmed the news. She further added that an official announcement regarding the project will be made soon.

In an interview with Pinkvilla, Taapsee said, “There is something that we are working together on. We will announce what it is very soon. But yes, we are working on something together. I will be producing it.”

On being asked if she will be acting in the movie too, Taapsee said, “If there is a part in it that I can do, then I would, but she (Samantha Ruth Prabhu) is going to be leading it. There is a different kind of excitement.”

On the work front, Samantha is now waiting for the release of director Gunasekhar’s Shaakuntalam. She also has director duo Hari-Harish’s Yashoda, Vijay Deverakonda’s Kushi and her first foreign film, Arrangements of Love.

On the other hand, Taapsee Pannu is gearing up for the release of Shabaash Mithu. The film is based on the life of former Test and ODI captain of the Indian women’s cricket team, Mithali Raj. It will hit the screens on July 15.
