Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar Trailer: Parineeti Chopra & Arjun Kapoor starrer promises to be an edge-of-the-seat crime thriller

The makers of Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar have dropped its second trailer today. The crime thriller stars Parineeti Chopra and Arjun Kapoor. While Arjun plays a Haryanvi cop named Pinky in the film, Parineeti is seen in the role of a corporate employee Sandeep who is absconding.

The trailer is edgy and nail-bitting and the Dibakar Banerjee directorial promises to be filled with lots of suspense and twists. The first trailer of the movie was released last year in March and the movie was supposed to release last year itself but to the Coronavirus induced lockdown, the release date was pushed. The movie will now be releasing on March 19, 2021. Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar is produced by Aditya Chopra’s Yash Raj Films. Apart from Parineeti and Arjun, the movie also stars Neena Gupta, Raghubir Yadav and Jaideep Ahlawat in pivotal roles.

Dibakar told ANI, “SAPF has taken so long to come to the screen that it has become my other Khosla. Audiences and filmmakers all over the world have had an eventful past year. It’s only when something is taken away from us do we realise the true value of it.” He also said that he wanted Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar to be a film that “couples, families, gangs of friends would watch in the theatres and then go out for dinner to argue about it.”

Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar is Parineeti and Arjun’s second movie together after their debut movie Ishaqzaade. They became overnight stars with this movie.
