Sandeep Nahar Death: Abetment to suicide case registered against the late actor’s wife and mother-in-law

Kesari actor Sandeep Nahar breathed his last on February 15. The actor allegedly committed suicide after he posted a long video on his Facebook account along with a note. Sandeep was found dead at his Goregaon residence on Monday night. In his note, Sandeep had opened up about having constant issues with his wife and mother-in-law.

In his note, while Sandeep wrote that his family should not be blamed for his death, the Goregaon police have registered a case under Section 306 (abetment to suicide) against the late actor’s wife and mother-in-law. The case was filed following a complaint filed by Nahar’s father.

In his last video, Sandeep had said that he would have taken the drastic step a long time ago but he decided to give life another chance yet remained unsuccessful.“I would’ve died by suicide a long time ago but I chose to give myself the time and hope that things would get better, but they didn’t. I now have nowhere to go. I don’t know what awaits me after I take this step, but I’ve been through hell in this life. I have only one request after I am gone, please don’t say anything to Kanchan (his wife) but do get her treated,” reads the late actor’s note.

Sandeep was part of movies like MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, Kesari and Khandaani Shafakhana to name a few. Akshay Kumar, who worked with Sandeep in Kesari took to his social media to his death. “Heartbreaking to know about #SandeepNahar’s passing away. A smiling young man passionate for food as I remember him from Kesari. Life’s unpredictable. Please seek help if ever feeling low. Peace for his soul,” Kumar had tweeted.

Anupam Kher who worked with Sandeep in MS Dhoni told Times of India, “I met him on the sets of that film only. I had about two-three scenes with him. He had more scenes with other actors in the film but he was undoubtedly a good actor.”
