‘Sadak 2’: Sanjay Dutt spill the beans about this Alia Bhatt starrer

Just a few days back we came to know how Sanjay Dutt took up the initiative of asking the makers of ‘Sadak’ to make a sequel and now, the actor has revealed some interesting details about ‘Sadak 2’.

Helmed by Mahesh Bhatt, ‘Sadak’, that released in 1991, starred Sanjay Dutt and Pooja Bhatt in the lead. Now, if recent reports are to be believed then the film’s sequel will also star the original actors Sanjay and Pooja. Apart from them, ‘Sadak 2’ will also star Alia Bhatt.

In a recent interview with Zoom TV, Sanjay Dutt revealed that the storyline of ‘Sadak 2’ is going to be an emotional one. Revealing further details about the film, Dutt shared, “It starts with Ravi [Sanjay Dutt’s character]. It’s many many years later after Sadak, it’s a journey with this young girl who is Alia [Bhatt] and how she becomes a very important factor in his life to stay alive. It’s a very crazy character.”

Previously, talking about the film Pooja had told IANS, “The production house of the film will announce the cast and crew. All I can say is that it is happening and I also want to mention that it was Sanjay Dutt who initiated it.”

Presented by Mahesh Bhatt, in association with Vishesh Films, ‘Sadak 2’ is being produced by Mukesh Bhatt. And the film is scheduled to hit the silver screens on November 15, 2019.

It will be a treat to watch Sanjay Dutt and Alia Bhatt share a screen space in ‘Sadak 2’.
