Sanjay Dutt and Madhuri Dixit to reunite for a film?

Actor Sanjay Dutt will soon be romancing his ‘Khalnayak’ co-star Madhuri Dixit. Sanju Baba is all set to make a comeback with Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s production ‘Marco Bhau’ and rumour is that his former flame Madhuri Dixit, is being considered to play his leading lady in it.

Madhuri Dixit and Sanjay Dutt had shared screen space in a number of hit 90’s flicks they shared an amazing onscreen chemistry. Madhuri and Sanju were one of the widely discussed couples of the ’90s but their alleged relationship hit rock bottom when Dutt was arrested for illegal possession of arms in the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts case.

Since then the two have never come in contact with each other and have remained strangers ever since. Recently as the rumours of Sanjay’s biopic gained credence Mad’s had contacted him to make sure that there was no reference to her in the proposed biopic.

Sources revealed, “Madhuri is close to Vidhu Vinod, who directed her in the 1989 hit film, ‘Parinda’. So, she might just give her nod to the film. Moreover, Vidhu Vinod is known to bring controversial figures together on reel.”. So if the rumours come true then it will be a boon for the Dutt and Dixit fans who have not forgotten the sizzling chemistry shared by the two in ‘Khalnayak’ their last film together.

At present Madhuri is married to Mr Nene while Sanjay Dutt has tied the knot with Maanayata Dutt

‘Marco Bhau’ will be helmed by Vidhu Vinod’s sister, Shelly Chopra, and feature Dutt as father to a grown-up daughter. Kriti Sanon and Athiya Shetty are said to be in the running for the role.
