Actor Sanjay Dutt, who is currently out on parole to take care of his ailing wife, has not finished dubbing for his films. There were several projects that remained pending at the time Sanjay Dutt was convicted. While the actor had finished dubbing for ‘Zanjeer’ and ‘Policegiri’, dubbing for ‘Peekay’, ‘Unglee’ and ‘Sher’, are still pending. The report adds that the filmmakers of ‘Policegiri’ and ‘Zanjeer’ had turned one of Dutt’s rooms into a dubbing theatre in order to help him finish dubbing.
As per sources, ‘PeeKay’ was shot in the sync sound style, but Sanjay did not wear the lapel microphone for voice recording. Hence, the filmmakers are hoping that the actor finishes dubbing before he returns to jail. Therefore Director Rajkumar Hirani and producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra met the actor at his residence and asked him to finish dubbing for the film.
Sanju has asked for asked for further extension of his parole to nurse his wife Manyata, who is recovering after a surgery, it is yet to be seen if it will be granted or not. Hence the future of the film is uncertain. It all depends on Dutt being granted further parole .
Rajkumar Hirani, who has a strong connection with the actor, will start working on the third part of the Munnabhai series when the actor finishes his jail sentence.
