Sanjay Dutt diagnosed with lung cancer: Urmila Matondkar, Riteish Deshmukh wish for speedy recovery of the actor

Sanjay Dutt has been diagnosed with stage 3 lung cancer. According to a report by Bollywood Hungama, a close friend of Sanjay revealed, “Baba is devastated. He has little children. Fortunately, they are in Dubai right now with their mother. But breaking this awful news to them would be an ordeal.” The friend further said, “It is curable. He needs instant and rigorous treatment for which he leaves immediately.” He is likely to fly to the US for treatment.

This news came as a shock to us and fans and followers of Baba are wishing for his speedy recovery. Also, celebs like Riteish Deshmukh, Urmila Matondkar and others prayed for the actor.

Urmila Matondkar shared a throwback picture with Sanjay from the 1997 film ‘Daud’ and wrote, “Such an upsetting n horrible news that @duttsanjay has been diagnosed of lung cancer..but then again he has been such a fighter all his life..here is wishing him a speedy recovery ?? #prayersforspeedyrecovery #GetWellSoon ?”.

Riteish Deshmukh commented on Sanjay Dutt’s post on sabbatical. He wrote, “Get well soon Baba. We love you. Our prayers are with you for your speedy recovery.”

A couple of days back, Sanjay was admitted at the Lilavati Hospital after he complained of breathlessness and chest discomfort. Later the actor was discharged on August 10. Yesterday, he shared a post where he wrote that he is taking a break from work. He wrote, “Hi friends, I am taking a short break from work for some medical treatment. My family and friends are with me and I urge my well-wishers not to worry and unnecessarily speculate. With your love and good wishes, I will be back soon!”.

Yuvraj Singh who himself is a cancer survivor tweeted, “You are, have and always will be a fighter @duttsanjay I know the pain it causes but I also know you are strong and will see this tough phase through. My prayers and best wishes for your speedy recovery.”
