Sanjay Dutt gets parole for unwell wife

Bollywood Actor Sanjay Dutt who is in Yerawada Jail Pune, serving sentence for illegal possession of firearms during the Mumbai Blasts, has once again been granted parole and this time it is for 30 days to take care of his wife Manyata Dutt who is not keeping well. Sanju might be home by Saturday.

As per sources, Pune Divisional Commissioner Prabhakar Deshmukh said, “I have signed the parole application after the reports forwarded by the police and the Yerawada jail authorities were received and the reason stated is that his wife Manyata is ill and has to undergo a surgery. He can be released on a surety and personal bond of Rs. 5,000 each. He has to report to the Kharghar police station twice a week.”

Earlier in October Sanjay had got a furlough for 14 days that was later extended to 14 days more on medical grounds.
