There is a lot of hype around actor Sanjay Dutt’s comeback film ‘Bhoomi’. His fans have been eagerly waiting to see the star back on the big screen. Therefore, the actor is also running busy with the promotions of this revenge action thriller which also stars him along with actress Aditi Rao Hydari, who plays his onscreen daughter. Taking some time out from his hectic promotions, recently the actor made his way to attend an event in Delhi where he opened up on the dark phase of his drug addiction and why he didn’t want his son Shahraan to be like him.
Sanjay was talking about it as he was called at the India Today Mind Rocks Youth Summit. When asked at the event how he compares himself with his legendary father late Sunil Dutt when it comes to fatherhood, the actor said, “My father raised us as normal children. I was sent to a boarding school… I went through the grind. And I am the same way with my children. I try to teach them the values of life, give them ‘sanskaar’, and teach them (that) respect for elders is very important even if they are your servants… And that you’ve got to value life.” [sic] (Also Read: Comedian Sanket gets emotional after meeting his idol Sanjay Dutt)
