Sanjay Dutt likely to do a period action comedy film

Post-return from the jail, Sanjay Dutt‘s comeback to Bollywood is going to be an exciting one. The actor has already signed for the third edition of the superhit ‘Munnabhai’ franchise. Apart from that, Sidharth Anand of ‘Bang Bang’ fame has also roped him in for his upcoming action. On top of everything, the actor has apparently agreed for a period based action comedy too!

The project will be helmed by filmmaker Rohit Jugraj Chauhan. It will be set on the backdrop of Punjab in 17th century and Dutt will also turn a co-producer for this one.

Sources reveal that the script has been finalised and other pre-production activities are going on. On completion of them, the filming will begin.
