Sanjay Dutt, who is essaying the role an Afghan King in ‘Panipat’ will be resuming the shoot of this period action drama later this week. This will be the second schedule of ‘Panipat’ shot in Jaipur. Dutt will be sporting a bald look for the film and will be wrapping up his shoot by the end of March.
Last month, the ‘Bhoomi’ actor underwent a look test for another period action thriller titled ‘Shameshra’ that has Ranbir Kapoor in the lead role. Sanjay has shot the initial portion of the film in Mumbai and will resume the same post-‘Panipat’.
The actor has a busy schedule this year as he is working for his home production, ‘Prasthanam’, in which he plays the leader of a political party in Uttar Pradesh. Also, he has upcoming films ‘Torbaaz’, ‘Sadak 2’ and ‘Kalank’. Shooting for both period dramas will be wrapped up by mid-next year, after which Sanjay will start shooting for Mahesh Bhatt’s directorial ‘Sadak 2’.
Sanjay will be seen in a variety of roles of an army officer, an Afghan king, billiards champion and a politician. He is leaving no stone unturned to nail his performances in all these films. The upcoming line up of Sanjay Dutt’s film has got the audience excited to witness more interesting performances by him.
