Raveena Tandon is garnering much praise for Netflix series Aranyak in which she plays a police officer. It is no secret that the talented actress is also marking her debut in a much-anticipated Kannada film KGF Chapter 2. The film features Kannada superstar Yash in the lead role. Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt will be seen as the antagonist.
Raveena plays the role of a politician Ramika Sen in the Prashanth Neel directorial. The actress says she regrets one thing about the film and that is not having any scenes with Sanjay Dutt.
Raveena Tandon said that she was looking forward to working with Sanjay Dutt once again. But the script did not have any scenes between her and Sanjay Dutt.
In an interview with News 18, The Aranyak actor said, “Sanjay and I thought we would have a blast on the sets just like old times but sadly we don’t share screen space in the film. Our shooting schedules also never overlapped. In fact, we requested Prashant if something could be worked out but the script didn’t have room for it.”
For the unversed Sanjay and Raveena have worked together in Jeena Marna Tere Sang, Kshatriya, Zamane Se Kya Darna, Vijeta and Jung.

The KGF series of films follow the story of Rocky Bhai(Yash). Written and directed by Prashanth Neel, the upcoming Kannada action film is backed by Hombale Films. The movie also features, Srinidhi Shetty, Prakash Raj, Achyuth Kumar, Anant Nag, Malavika Avinash and others. It is slated to hit the theatres on 14 April 2022 in Kannada, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam languages.
