Sanjay Dutt diagnosed with stage 3 lung cancer; close friend reveals, ”Baba is devastated”

Sanjay Dut was admitted at the Lilavati Hospital a few days ago as he complained of breathlessness and chest discomfort. Later the actor was discharged as he returned home on August 10th. But, now we are hit with the sad news that Sanjay Dutt has been diagnosed with stage 3 lung cancer.

According to a report by Bollywood Hungama, a close friend of Sanjay revealed, “Baba is devastated. He has little children. Fortunately, they are in Dubai right now with their mother. But breaking this awful news to them would be an ordeal.” Dutt’s friend further said that it is curable, “It is curable. He needs instant and rigorous treatment for which he leaves immediately.” Sanjay is also said to fly to the US for immediate treatment.

Earlier today, Dutt had informed his fans that he is taking a short break from work due to his medical treatment. Taking to his Twitter handle, he wrote, “Hi friends, I am taking a short break from work for some medical treatment. My family and friends are with me and I urge my well-wishers not to worry and unnecessarily speculate. With your love and good wishes, I will be back soon!”.
