It will be ‘Sanju Vs Sanju,’ says Sanjay Dutt as he opens up on being pitted against Ranbir Kapoor in Shamshera

Sanjay Dutt and Ranbir Kapoor starrer Shamshera is one of the most anticipated films of this year. Sanjay Dutt will be seen playing the role of a villain and fans are beyond excited to see him against Ranbir in the film. This is the first time Sanjay and Ranbir are sharing screen space in the film. Earlier, Ranbir Kapoor played the role of Sanjay Dutt in his biopic ‘Sanju’. Now, Sanjay said that it will be interesting for the audience to watch them onscreen as it will be ‘Sanju Vs Sanju.’

The actor recently shared that he was thrilled to know that he was pitted against Ranbir Kapoor in Shamshera. He called Ranbir a ‘brilliant actor’.

Pinkvilla quoted him saying, “It is also quite interesting that I’m pitted against Ranbir, who played me in Sanju. So, the on-screen enmity between him and me becomes all the more interesting for people. Ranbir is a brilliant actor but this film sees him in a new gaze. His boyish charm in inimitable, but in this film, he is a man who finds his footing and looks glorious on screen.”

The makers of Shamshera recently released the film’s teaser. It received a great response and fans can’t wait to watch the film. A fan had dropped a comment saying, “Wow looks incredible.” Another one commented, “Superb.”
