Sanjay Leela Bhansali tests negative for Covid-19; filmmaker to resume Gangubai Kathiawadi shoot after quarantine period?

A while back, Sanjay Leela Bhansali had tested positive for Covid-19. But things are looking good for the filmmaker as he has apparently tested negative for the virus. Bhansali is now getting ready to get back to filming his movie Gangubai Kathiawadi that features Alia Bhatt in the titular role. The filmmaker had to halt the film’s shoot after his Covid diagnosis.

However although the filmmaker has tested negative for Covid-19, he will apparently complete his 14-day quarantine period before going back to shoot. If the latest reports are to be believed, Bhansali apparently doesn’t want to return until the mandatory quarantine period. He will also not meet his mother until his quarantine time is over.

According to a report by Bollywood Hungama, a source revealed, “It is the best thing to do. Sanjay doesn’t want to return until the mandatory quarantine period. He won’t even meet his mother until the period of quarantine is over. But he can see her from the balcony of his office where he’s quarantined since their residence is bang opposite and they wave to each other whenever they miss one another.”

Meanwhile, Gangubai Kathiawadi is scheduled for a release on July 30, 2021.

Talking about Covid positive B-town celebs, the list seems to be increasing as Ranbir Kapoor, Kartik Aaryan, Satish Kaushik and others have also tested positive for the deadly Coronavirus.
