Sanjay Leela Bhansali tightens security on set of ‘Padmavati’ to guard look of the actors

Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali who has started the shooting of his upcoming movie ‘Padmavati’ is ensuring that the look of his actors remains a secret. SLB has tightened the security on the sets of his film so that nobody is able to sneak in and witness the guarded new look of the star cast.

A source was quoted in a daily, “Apart from raising the number of security personnel on the sets, Ranveer, Deepika and Shahid will be escorted from the sets to their vanity vans by guards in a makeshift tent.”

This is not the first time that SLB has indulged in strict measures on his film sets. Even during ‘Bajirao Mastani’, the filmmaker had banned family members from visiting the sets and mobile phones where also not allowed for the star cast. These days many filmmakers like Ashutosh Gowarikar, Sanjay Gupta and Zoya Akhtar have also started following the ‘no mobile phones on set’ policy.

‘Padmavati’ stars Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor in main roles. The movie will be releasing on November 17, 2017.
