Actor Vicky Kaushal is currently riding high on the success of his last film ‘Sanju‘. The film directed by Rajkumar Hirani sees Kaushal portraying the character of Sanjay Dutt’s best friend Kamlesh Kanhaiyalal Kapasi, fondly called Kamli.
Along with Ranbir who plays the titular role, Vicky has been equally showered with love from the audiences for his character.
Though Kaushal is extremely grateful to all those who have praised him, the actor feels the compliment he received from the Sanjay Dutt himself as the best.

According to a report in mid-day, after watching the movie, Dutt told Vicky, “I got really emotional with your performance. You have truly portrayed the meaning of friendship, and your act is accurate when I think of the friends I have had. Puttar, tune dil jeet liya(Son, you have won my heart).”

That’s so sweet of Sanju Baba! Talking about missing out on the movie’s success bash, Vicky said, “I am missing out on celebrating the success with the entire team in Mumbai. However, I’m overwhelmed by the reaction that the film has received. Being a part of a Rajkumar Hirani film was a dream come true.”
Nevertheless, we are glad that Hirani’s ambitious project has fared well at the box office. And, speaking about Vicky’s upcoming projects, the actor will be next seen in ‘Uri’.
