Impostor who sold ‘Sanju’s pirated copies for 10 bucks, gets arrested

Ranbir Kapoor and Rajkumar Hirani’s much-anticipated project ‘Sanju‘ released on June 29. The film fared well as per everyone’s expectations, with people also praising Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal’s performance in the movie. Based on the life of Sanjay Dutt, the drama has raked in about a huge amount of 73 crores at the domestic box office already. Despite the thunderous response from the audiences, the makers of ‘Sanju’ recently received a huge blow.

According to a report in Times Of India, the makers of the film were taken aback by the news of its leak. Along with them, fans too were shocked by the news and expressed displeasure over it.

Besides the pirated prints being available online, another 25-year-old man was arrested for selling pirated copies of the film for Rs 10-20. This case was brought to light after the T-series management filed a complaint against the accused, who had reportedly been a part of such activities on many occasions.

Anyway, now we hope that the film does not suffer loss any further. ‘Sanju’ featuring Ranbir Kapoor, Dia Mirza, Anushka Sharma, Vicky Kaushal, Paresh Rawal, Sonam Kapoor, Karishma Tanna, Boman Irani and Manisha Koirala, is being screened in more than 5000 screens across the country.
