Sanya Malhotra: ‘Jawan is a dream film’

Sanya Malhotra started her acting career with Dangal starring alongside Aamir Khan. She has been a part of several films. Sanya Malhotra will share the screen in the most anticipated movie Jawan opposite Shah Rukh Khan. Atlee directs the film. The teaser was released on May 2022 and there has been a lot of excitement regarding that. She spoke about her experience working on the film and working with SRK. 

Talking about working on the film

While speaking to a news portal, Sanya shared, “I am excited because I can finally talk about it. Before this, I would give some really weird answers every time I was asked whether I am in Jawan or not. I always hoped to work with SRK one day, so it is a dream come true. I cannot wait to see myself around him… it is a dream role, a dream film. Just to be around him makes me really happy.”

Sanya Malhotra finished shooting for her part in Jawan in 2022. Shah Rukh Khan was spotted shooting for the Nayanthara in Mumbai. The film also had Vijay Sethupathi in pivotal roles. According to reports, Deepika Padukone will be seen in a special appearance.

Jawan was slated for June 2 release. But Shah Rukh Khan recently announced the date of the release of Jawan which is September 7.

Currently, Sanya is promoting her upcoming film Kathal. She is currently working on the Hindi version of the Malayalam film The Great Indian Kitchen as well as Sam Bahadur, starring Vicky Kaushal.
