Sara Ali Khan and Aditya Roy Kapur starrer Metro In Dino locks new release date; set to arrive in cinemas in November

Metro In Dino movie is one of the much-awaited movies of 2024 as filmmaker Anurag Basu comes back to direct it. Life In A Metro was helmed by Anurag Basu and fans’ expectations for the sequel skyrocketed. Adding more excitement to it, the star cast of the movie has announced the new release date of Metro In Dino. Sara Ali Khan, Aditya Roy Kapur starrer Metro In Dino is to release on November 29, 2024.

The movie also stars Konkana Sensharma, Neena Gupta, Ali Fazal, Pankaj Tripathi, Fatima Sana Shaikh and Anupam Kher. All of them will be seen in the pivotal roles. Currently, the story of the movie is still under the wraps. However, the filming has started in April 2023.

Earlier, director Anurag Basu spoke about the movie in Mid-Day, “Metro…In Dino is a tale of the people and for the people! It has been a while I’m working on this one and I am glad to be collaborating with a powerhouse like Bhushan Kumar yet again who has always been like a pillar to me! The storyline is very fresh and relevant as I look forward to collaborating with amazing artists who bring that essence of contemporary aura with them. As music plays a very important role in any film, I couldn’t be more happy to be collaborating with my dear friend Pritam who has literally added life to the characters and story with his work.”

For the unversed, Anurag Basu previously helmed Life In A Metro which starred Irrfan Khan, Konkona Sen Sharma, Kangana Ranaut, Dharmendra, Nafisa Ali, Shilpa Shetty, Kay Kay Menon, Shiney Ahuja and Sharman Joshi.
