Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh’s daughter Sara Ali Khan has marked her Bollywood debut with Abhishek Kapoor’s ‘Kedarnath’. The love story, based on the background of the devastating Uttarakhand floods, also featured Sushant Singh Rajput in a pivotal role. The film went on to garner much love on the box office. Sara’s second outing was with Ranveer Singh in the action dhamaka ‘Simmba’ directed by Rohit Shetty. Both the films brought Sara immense fame and fan following.
The feisty youngster won the heart of the nation, not only with her back to back hits, but also when she joined her father on Karan Johar’s show ‘Koffee With Karan 6’. The episode made Sara a household name with fans eager to know each and every minute detail about the actress. Another thing that helped Sara garner a lot of love from her fans is the way she promoted her movies. Her enthusiasm and energy was on par with her ‘Simmba’ co-star Ranveer Singh.
During one of her promotions, Sara was asked by Bombay Times about when she’ll make her Twitter and Facebook debut. She said without any hesitancy, “Soon. Don’t know about Facebook, but Twitter will happen in 2019.”
Sara is at present basking in the glory of her latest release ‘Simmba’ that is minting money globally.
On the work front, the gorgeous beauty is rumoured to be roped in by David Dhawan for a remake of ‘Coolie No. 1’ opposite Varun Dhawan.
