Sara Ali Khan silenced the naysayers last year with her impeccable performance as Rinku in Aanand L Rai’s Atrangi Re opposite Dhanush and Akshay Kumar. The actress showed the same charm and confidence that she did in her first film Kedarnath and the audience once again fell in love with the Chaka Chak actress after watching the film. Presently Sara Ali Khan is in Abu Dhabi for the ongoing edition of IIFA Awards and while there, she opened up about her future co-stars and her wish list of directors.

During an interaction with the media at the IIFA awards, Sara spoke to ETimes about what the future actually holds for her. When asked if the success of Atrangi Re has affected her choices in any way, she said, “I am not going to be choosy. But I have to go back to what Aanand L Rai told me after Atrangi Re. Abb koi bhi kachcha kirdar nibhane mein maza nahi aayega (You won’t enjoy working with half-baked characters anymore). Now I have developed the hunger for good work. Thankfully that’s happening, too.”

Or I get to play a modern girl in a Zoya Akhtar film. Those are my dream roles.”

Well, seeing Sara in the role of a queen in an SLB world would surely be interesting. But as of now, apart from Laxman Utekar’s film, the actress has Gaslight with Vikrant Massey up next in her kitty.
