Sara Ali Khan on nepotism: I can call up Karan Johar without doing any film

The nepotism debate had all started with the chat show ‘Koffee With Karan 5’ when Kangana Ranaut called Karan Johar the flag-bearer of nepotism. Since then the debate is still going on. When a star kid is launched, they become the soft targets of nepotism debate. Having said that there are many stars like Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Ishaan Khatter, Sara Ali Khan and others who are in the industry not because they have the tag of ‘star kids’. They are here today also because of their talent.

Talking about Sara, she is just two movies old yet she has stunned everyone of us with her screen presence and acting skills. Recently, she was asked on nepotism to which she spoke on the advantages of being a star child.

As reported by India Today, in an interview with a leading magazine, Sara said, “I definitely believe that knowing people in the industry does help. That’s not a fact that I can run away from. I’ve often admitted to the fact that the biggest advantage of nepotism is the fact that we have easy access to people. I can call up Karan Johar without doing any film. I can go to Rohit Shetty’s office. So these are privileges I’m well aware of.”

Sara was last seen in Rohit Shetty’s ‘Simmba’ which was under Dharma Productions’. Reportedly, she has signed a movie opposite Kartik Aaryan in Imtiaz Ali’s next.
