Sara Ali Khan’s reaction to the Pulwama attack shows she is terribly hurt

Last week on Thursday, as many as 40 CRPF jawans were martyred and over 30 others were injured when a car loaded with over 200 kg of explosives rammed into a CRPF bus. The unfortunate incident happened on the Srinagar-Jammu Highway in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district. Bollywood condemned the coward attack and paid tribute to the martyred jawans.

Actors including Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, Nimrat Kaur, Ranveer Singh, Arjun Kapoor, Rishi Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Abhishek Bachchan, Javed Akhtar, Farhan Akhtar, Anupam Kher, Sara Ali Khan and others took to social media to condemn the attack and pay tribute to the martyred CRPF Jawans.

During an interaction with media, on being asked about Pulwama attack, Sara replied saying, “Honestly, as a human being when I listen such kind of instances obviously anger is the first emotion that comes out. I feel afraid, pained and hurt too. I personally feel these emotions are very normal and obvious as we are humans.”

The ‘Simmba’ actress had earlier said that the incident is heartbreaking. “What happened in Pulwama is absolutely heartbreaking. My heart goes out for the brave jawans of our country. Praying for the families of the martyrs,” Sara had said.

On the work front, Sara’s last release ‘Simmba’ has done extremely well at the box office and has earned over Rs. 250 crores. The gorgeous beauty is rumoured to be roped in by David Dhawan for a remake of ‘Coolie No. 1’ opposite Varun Dhawan.
