Sara Ali Khan REACTS as Dhanush reveals Sonam Kapoor was better co-star than her

Recently, Sara Ali Khan and Dhanush appeared on Karan Johar’s Koffee Shots With Karan to promote their upcoming film, Atrangi Re. The duo will share the screen space for the first time in the upcoming Aanand L Rai directorial. The episode premiered on December 22 on Disney+ Hotstar.

Now, in a special segment, Dhanush was asked who he felt was a better co-star to work with between Sonam Kapoor and Sara. He was quick enough to reply and said, Sonam Kapoor. However, Sara Ali Khan’s reaction caught our eyes! The ‘Kedarnath’ star replied, “Wow, not offensive at all. I’m losing my hamper, I am losing my…”

To note, Dhanush made his debut in Bollywood with Aanand L Rai’s ‘Raanjhanaa’ (2013).

Further, the actor explained why he chose Sonam, he said: “Not taking away the kindness, sweetness, fun (that) Sara (brought) on the sets of Atrangi Re, Sonam because she was very special, she was my first co-star in Hindi films and a guy from the south coming here, and she made me feel very comfortable and very kind to me. I am very grateful for that,” he said.

During the same episode, while playing the Rapid Fire round. Dhanush also stated that he was open to doing more Hindi films. He also added that punctuality was one attribute the Bollywood industry could acquire from the South Indian film industry.

Meanwhile, talking about ‘Atrangi Re,’ is a musical romantic drama film directed by Aanand L. Rai. Produced by T-Series, Colour Yellow Productions, and Cape of Good Films, the film also stars Akshay Kumar. The Tamil dubbed version of the film is titled as ‘Galatta Kalyanam’. The film is set to premiere on Disney+ Hotstar on 24 December 2021 in Hindi and Tamil languages.
